On Sunday September 1st my boyfriend and myself decided to try this place out because the food smelled absolutely amazing. I got in line behind a woman and two children and my boyfriend joined me in line. As we were about to move forward the girl at the window this is they were closed and shut the window. I felt this was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had been waiting on line for 15 minutes before the posted closing time. Do I will never know if the food was really as good as it smelled.
Pretty good little drive in coming off the lake. Service can take awhile but the food and ice cream is good and there's plenty of shaded seating
Went to the Bear Cave while visiting Bear Lake and ordered the Bear Cave burger combo and opted for the Raspberry shake with it. The Raspberry shake was very good, the fries were pretty good as well, and the burger was okay, wasn't a fan of the bun and I didn't see any gluten free options for a bun. The seating outside was plentiful and there was enough parking when our group went. My group had to wait for me as my food order was slow as several people with similar orders behind me were getting their food before I did, not sure what happened there but that was a bit inconvenient.
The bear cave was phenomenal! The burgers are all char-grilled and the fries were some of the best fries I've had in a long time! Perfect little burger shop for a meal after exploring the Minnetonka Caves! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Seriously one of the best places in the valley. The pricing is good and the food is amazing. We had a cowboy burger, fries, and two shakes (raspberry and huckleberry). Loved all of it and will be back. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
