Cafe Face - Saint-Cast-le-Guildo

Amazing eating. always busy. friendly staff and a beautiful location. a fantastic selection of salads and really good steaks. or for a quick snack half dozen oyster with a glass muscadet. I don't feel on holiday until I eat here.

The terrace of the restaurant overlooks the marina great for a sunny day. we had a nice lunch my partner was very satisfied with his moules a la crème and chocolate mousse for dessert. my croque madame (was rejected as snack) was bigger than. I expected with salat and chips, but was really good. I did it!

Here for lunch on a beautiful sunny day. there is a magnificent view over the harbour and the beach of st cast. the children ordered crepes and my man and I had a steak sandwich. the children's coats came 20 minutes before our food came, so they had. her age ended before we even started what was poor. not the kindest staff, but the food was delicious and the location was good.

We both have an appetit, but none of us have finished our main course through the sheer volume and the bad cooking. the presentation was also bad/damped. for the record we had escallop normande poelee st jaques followed by fondant chocolat and...coffee the bill came to euro 49.10 but much better value / quality can be found a few meters away in le caravel for only 30 euro more.

Just got into St Cast Marina and went for a beer in this restaurant.The staff were rude bordering aggressive and the service was as poor. I had to ask for my change three times from the surly waiter and eventually went to the till to...get it myself. Its a shame as it has a great outlook, Would not go back!
