Stopped here for lunch with 5 friends one of which is a vegetarian. We asked about vegetarian options and were told to read the menu. The only option was falafel which my friend does not like. When he asked if they could do an omelette the owner said no but she could do a fried egg sandwich! Really enjoyed our lunchtime visit. It's a small place but, thankfully, we'd got there early and managed to get a table – many others had to be turned away. The cheeseburgers went down well amongst the meat eaters and the beetroot halloumi burger was...delicious. Everyone loved the homemade chips! Great value as well – we also ate at a nearby restaurant, which was significantly more expensive and probably less enjoyable.
Katie, owner, is so welcoming and the serves you hearty honest food to keep you fuelled for the day. Reservations are not accepted and it does get busy at peak times of day.
Good lunch menu and can get English cooked breakfast until late morning. Pub style bar with english speaking staff.
Cuisine faite maison excellente, mention spéciale pour le kofta d'agneau de la pétillante cuisinière anglaise. Ambiance sympathique.
