To you the detractors!!! Madame who wanted to drink a coffee on the terrace during the catering service when we weren't serving outside, you said by text that if we couldn't find staff it's because we didn't pay them enough and you supposedly working in the restaurant business!! and you settled down with your daughter, I presume, on the terrace and didn't appreciate me pointing it out to you!! I assume that you have... View all feedback.

Arrived early evening with only one other customer why? This was an excellent dining experience but as it was late in the season, food was not available until 1915 hrs which allowed us to enjoy a very agreeable glass of wine before our meal....Tables and décor were very attractive but we would have preferred background music instead of television (it must be said that it was also a bar used by locals). Food was excellent and generous portions, three courses including wine for two, 50 euros.
This is a bar that does really good value for money food! Went in open minded after reading mixed reviews on TA it was really good and we will return regularly now we 've tried it. There are 2 menus and a small selection of...other choices including a seafood platter for 12 euros, plus a burger menu. The burger menu didn 't appeal actually it seemed expensive in comparison to the other menus on offer. We chose the 11.50 menu (the other was 15.50) a selection of starters, 3 mains, a selection of deserts and a glass of wine. For starters we chose the Ardoise de chèvre. A very generous portion and nicely presented on a slate plate. Delicious ate every scrap! For the main we both chose bavette (steak) with shallot sauce. It came with nice chips in a cute basket and dressed green salad. Again, it was really good and well presented. The steak was tender bavette can be hit or miss and was cooked exactly as we asked. We were offered a choice of desert profiteroles, riz au lait, creme brûlée, peach melba or tarte tatin..on the menu it was just desert du jour or cheese. We chose tarte tatin. Came with creme anglaise. We didn 't think it was home made but then again it didn 't claim to be! Whatever its provenance it was really nice. All the food leaving the kitchen was beautifully presented and I would have been happy with everything that I saw. The lady server/waitress was working very hard it was quite busy. Service was not the quickest ever, but we were not in a rush. You really can 't beat this for quality and value for money....and its right opposite the coast.
Located in front of the municipal campsite where we were located, we went to lunch in this friendly brewery: charming welcome,...More
