We saw the sign to this place and couldn't believe the location. It's at the bottom of a quaint alleyway. We had a nice relaxing crepe lunch and some v reasonably priced house rose. View all feedback.
What FrancisJfr doesn't like about La Muscadiere:
Nice people but we weren’t asked how our meals were and we had to ask for bread. The best things were the lovely setting and great choice of music. Disappointing food, I had the cheese omelette with salad, the omelette was overcooked and tasteless. My partner had a goats cheese salad which again lacked flavour. View all feedback.

We dropped in today without a booking having heard it was worth a visit. Not wrong. Very pleasant outdoors surroundings a short walk from the town centre. Ample parking close by. The food was delicious, we both had galettes and shared a melon and pineau salad. Passable house rose was €1.50 a glass. A large tasty lunch for 2 for under €30, great value.
We wanted to go somewhere that was dog friendly. The menu is simple but the crepes and Ice creams are delicious. Perfect tranquil, service excellent. Just absolutely perfect place to sit and chill. Many thanks
We arrived in St Aulaye just before midday on a Sunday, thinking we would only be able to get a cup of coffee. We saw a sign for the Muscadiere and followed a little path down to a meadow with a converted barn. We had delicious crepes and coffee in an unexpected setting, with the most friendly service. And the toilet was one of the cleanest in France!
