Auberge des Tracols

A notorious problem in French Restaurants, we got really angry in this particular restaurant when refused to be seated and served because the waitress was already too busy while at least half of the seats where available. We did even call in advance to confirm...that the kitchen would still be open, but failed to reserve a table So, DO NOT GO HERE WITHOUT RESERVATION. The place looks lovely, and the cuisine was highly recommended by locals

Two years after the first time, this was the second time we have had dinner at Auberge des Tracols and it did not disappoint. The food was very good, the service excellent and we appeared to be the only tourists in the nearly full restaurant,...which is a good sign.

Consistent with other reviewers, I found this place to have lovely food and a very pleasant terrace. However, we arrived quite late for lunch and sparked off a temporary panic in the waitress who was not well supported. After first suggesting we might be turned...away, and then trying to push us towards the set menu, we persevered and were rewarded with a fine meal with nice wine, delivered with grace, if by a waitress clearly under some pressure on a hot day. Worth persevering for.

Une belle découverte....tant sur le lieu que sur la qualité des mets proposés. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Menu terroir à 23 euros. Nous nous sommes régalés. Très bonne table sans chichis......nous reviendrons...merci

Menu du midi à 16€ pour entrée/plat/dessert, rien à redire vu la qualité des produits et l'emplacement agréable !
