We had dinner here and the first thing to say is that the restaurant is very smart and the service is top class. In addition to the a la carte menu there are a couple of set menus and we chose one at 18 Euros a head. We both opted for the mixed hors d'oevres which were very good. I then had a perfectly cooked steak in a light mustard sauce while my wife had veal with a Marengo sauce. We are four British friends on holiday in the opposite and we have booked the amandois restaurant for a birthday dinner so that the restaurant manager in the booking email know that we should be satisfied if he could deliver a cake with candles. there was only. two other diners in the restaurant, possibly because it was Monday, and we were warmly welcomed. we started with the buffet and then had three of us kalb and the fourth cauliflower, with sweet potato and creamy brokkoli. the meals were very artistically presented and were very delicious. the restaurant manager then surprised the birthday girl with a delicious chocolate gateau with candles. all in all, an excellent meal and very attentive staff. Thank you!
My wife and I were here for a night to break the mile ride south. have them in logis hotels for many years, but this is the first time when the credit card details taken at check-in. we exchanged this in time and in the city. the good points are that the rooms of good size, clean and everything works. the after part of the visit is that the parking space is limited for the number of rooms, so that to get a place is a question of chance. the real disappointment was the restaurant for dinner. badly ventilated, although the door was open at the breakfast and was much cooler. waiting staff were not very helpful and need additional training. it is not a good look when a waitress physically struggles to open a bottle of wine with a butler friend. eating was not very good, and my laugh was slightly overcooked, but not so much that it would be reasonable to send it back. the entertainment was in the bar, opposite that had a karaoke evening until hours the next morning not good when we were in front of the hotel. the staff at the breakfast was much better.
We had dinner here and the first thing to say is that the restaurant is very smart and the service is first class. next to the a la carte menu there are a few set menus and we have chosen one at Euros...a head. we have both decided for the mixed hors d’oevres that were very good. I then had a perfectly boiled steak in a light savory sauce, while my wife had kalb with a marengo sauce. both meals were perfectly cooked and the accompanying vegetables were very good. end prices of mixed cheeses and a large cream brûlée were just right and if they look at the overall quality of the meal and service, they could not be disappointed.
My wife and I stayed here for a night to break the 600 mile drive to the South. Have stayed in Logis hotels for many years but this is the first time Credit Card details taken on check in. We put that down to times changing and city centre location. The good points are that the rooms are of good size, clean and everything works. The downside to the visit is that the car park is of limited size for the number of rooms so getting a space is a matter of chance. The real disappointment was the restaurant for dinner. Poorly ventilated even though at breakfast the door was thrown open and was much cooler. Waiting staff were not very helpful and need additional training. It is not a good look when a waitress physically struggles to open a bottle of wine with a butlers friend. The food unsurprisingly was not very good and my salmon was slightly overcooked but not so much that it would have reasonable to send it back. Entertainment was provided in the bar opposite which had a karaoke evening until 01.30 hours the next morning - not good as we were staying in the front of the hotel. Staff at breakfast were much better.

Final courses of mixed cheeses and a large creme brûlée were exactly right and when you consider the overall quality of the meal and service you couldn't be disappointed.
