We have often eaten here, so it is sad to see that this is getting worse and worse. the cook/patron is beautiful, but the food he serves is no longer good and the service is terrible slow. the last time we ate here. the starter was okay, but nothing special, but the main course was completely unthinkable. the spits tasted sour and rotten as if they had been cooked before days, were removed from the mud and badly reheated, still mostly cold I love spit, so I was appalled that I had to spit it out. it wasn't just me that mine was just as terrible. the meat (coq au vin) was hard to cut, it was so hard and microshaft reheated, very cold to place. I think he used very old broilers. when the cook came to take the tellers, he did not comment that the tellers of the food were hardly touched - he was not interested. we had no good, but even the dessert was not just his old standards and we left the greatest part of it. we loved to eat here, but that was the last time that we always tried to support him, but he did not treat his masterpieces very well, he calculated the full price for tellers of food we had not eaten and we were obviously not happy with. there were only other people who were fed in the night, so that he certainly did not rush from the feet! sadly since then, some friends have also dined here and also commented that they will never go again.
Patrick, the kochpatron and its charming woman cristal, who looks in front of the house, offer a wonderful culinary experience in this small village, maybe three miles from sancoins in st aignan des noyers. it is by far the best place to eat in the...region and is the small secret of all who eat there! patrick has worked many years in paris and a few years ago with his family pulled here and enjoying the rural life. be eating is cooked from the ground up with local and seasonal ingredients and many traditional recipes. it offers a wonderful three-course lunch menu at a very reasonable price in consideration how fresh and tasty its menu is. the evening menus have about six choices for each cure and the price of the main includes their choice of starter and dessert. I've been trying to publish a review for some time and it wasn't possible. I am so glad that it is now on trip adviser and I know that the reviews should come thick and fast and on the most positive way. if they are in this opposite, please book and visit this restaurant. patrick is always in the kitchen and always welcoming. oh, and he makes every day his own brot, which can also be taken home! this place should no longer be the secret jewel of his masters!
