Wasabi Sushi Bar - Clayton

This is one of the favorite places of my wife. Today was no exception. Nice that we come here for her birthday!

The service was very uneven. we waited a few minutes to see someone over, and when we ordered ourselves, our sushi came before our appetizers and our drinks came by, but not until we asked. oddly, some things were free, but we never found out why. also several articles were not available. but everything was delicious.

Slow service, mediocre food, sticky tables, spotty silverware. Our server was slow to arrive, did not offer salad or soup that came with the meal until we saw it being served to other tables, slow to bring drinks and food. Sushi was mediocre, chicken was dry and over cooked. Nothing to recommend this place.

Wasabi was wonderful! We had four rolls: O.M.G, Hurricane, Fried Philly and Playboy. All were so great and yummy. We both agreed we loved Fried Philly the best and luckily we got a free role from their happy hour price! 10/10 would go back.

They gave us free edamame which was a nice surprise I split rolls with my husband. We didn’t care for one. My fault for not saying anything. Waiter was very nice and attentive. We’ve been to other wasabi restaurants that we like the ambiance much better. I’m sure it does better for lunch crowds. It was empty on a Saturday night. The food was not as good as other wasabi resteraunts.
