Contribute FeedbackLocated on The Hill in St. Louis, this Italian restaurant has received mixed reviews from patrons. While some praised the food, particularly the toasted ravioli and tortellini, others found the quality to have declined over time. The decor was noted to be eclectic and the servers were friendly and attentive. The menu offers a variety of options and the dessert menu, especially the cannolis, was recommended. The atmosphere was described as great, with quick seating and delicious bread served. Prices were considered reasonable for the quality of food offered. Overall, while some diners were disappointed with certain dishes and changes in the menu, others found the restaurant to be a St. Louis classic with delicious Italian food at an affordable price.
Not great. Better restaurants on the hill. This has cheaper prices than others! Ser ice was very mechanical. Tiramisu was pretty good. Pizza crust too thick, beef steak seems pressed and fried, green bean overcooked.
I was told this place must try as it is on the hill and it is one of the authentic Italian diners. We reserved lunch for 8 during the weekend. When we entered, we were prepared for the long table without everything. But food was great, many possibilities for children and attentive service. You also need to try the desert menu and cannolis. Many parking spaces outside and in the parking lot. Some outside seats are available.
Came for the holiday and this restaurant was highly recommended. We ordered something else for each of us to see the difference. Four different dishes. The food was pretty bland and service was okay. There were many people there so locally that this place probably does very well. I thought that was a realistic Italian food and feeling. Not so much.
If you are looking for some good Italian food that isn't too expensive, then this is the place. The food there was amazing. We got some spaghetti with meatballs and the chicken parmesan which were both super good! I also recommend getting their fishbowl margaritas.
