I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while due to Covid, and we finally got the chance to go. It was definitely worth the wait and a very unique experience, from the friendly staff welcoming us at the simple storefront. I looked forward to trying this casual neighborhood spot after a friend raved about it. You order at the counter and the staff brings your food to the table. The hibiscus cocktail was tasty and unusual. The Bibb salad had great flavor, but unfortunately was drenched in dressing. This is the first time I have ever left a review on Yelp, and it's because the food is that good! I had the Smoked Chicken Thigh. Here is the description
The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... So all in all good food, WAY over priced!
Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend.
