3 Monkeys - Saint Albans

I love the style of this place and the food is good, but take a star because they 86'd the crab cake (who the best) and the turkey-sevens. A pulp for an app and no? Humanity!!!

The service was good, but my standards at the moment were literally zero after I had waited for Stellar Hog for over an hour and did not get food. Obviously I wanted Bbq, so I got the Brisket sandwich. Imagine a Rind-Jerky sandwich, yes, did they smoke it again after they cut it? Overall, it was a terrible night for dinner, I stay and cook for me for a while. Thanks for actually bringing us food!

This is the first place I chose to eat after I just moved to St. Louis. The open face breeze and egg sandwich was phenomenal (and I never say that!) My partner got the Bison bug and said it was really good. I can't wait to return to my new favorite local bar to try out all menu options.

As a picky vegetarian, I really appreciate their accommodations for substitutions, especially when it comes to the 4-Cheese pizza. I like the four cheeses, but I'm not into pesto sauce or cooked ? slices, so I always ask them to replace the pesto sauce with red sauce and the tomato slices with olive slices and they seem to be happy to oblige. Part of the restaurant is pretty much a bar with sports playing on the TVs which I don't care for, but fortunately they have another room off to the side without such distractions... At least that was the case last time I was there. There's nothing really special about the atmosphere, but there's nothing bad about it either. I wouldn't even say it's boring.

I have the Affenburger and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. My friend got the case of bone salad and it was amazing, great size! The only complaint I had was that it took about 10 minutes until someone realized we were there and waiting for food was a little long.
