Julie i... read more Just a quick post to recommend a stay in St Alban Sur Limagnole at Auberge St Jacques. It’s between Le Sauvage and Aumont Aubrac, about 14 km from each. Julie is an warm and gracious host, who also speaks English beautifully), welcoming you to her home with good food and a smile. Our room provided everything a pilgrim needs…comfortable bed, shower with shower products, drying rack for “laundry”, and a private toilette. Her Auberge is also a restaurant and bar, but very peaceful and quiet when ready for sleep. Five stars for Auberge St Jacques in St Alban!

The very convivial dinner included in the demi-pe... read more This was one of our best stops on the Chemin st Jacques. The rooms are spotless and the owners very welcoming. The very convivial dinner included in the demi-pension was taken at a long table with other 'pilgrims ' . The chef came out and talked to us enthusiastically about each dish that he served. It was a lovely evening.
