This is one of my favorite places to get dessert. I prefer the Japanese style cheesecake over the original cheesecakes. It is fluffy and light and not too sweet. The portion size for the cake is decent. I ordered the pandan and oreo one this time. The pandan has a great flavor to it, where it's not too strong, but just enough. The oreo is always good as you can never really go wrong with it. View all feedback.
What Zhang Chelsea doesn't like about Uncle Tetsu:
Top layer is sticked on paper bag at the moment they passed it to me. I asked for exchanging one but they refused in a bad attitude(from the site manager). Taste is ok but bad service. ?? View all feedback.
Not only do I love their cheesecakes, but their service is so fast. They have their cakes premade, so they were already handing me my order by the time I was done paying. I've been here many times and my favorites are the Oreo cheesecake and the pandan cheesecake. They're super affordable prices as well. This place gets a lot of foot traffic as well since it's right next to the movies and Ramenagi, but the line usually isn't too long. Highly recommend!
First time trying Japanese cheesecake and it did not disappoint! We got the ube flavor and the cheesecake itself was fluffy and light while also being nice and moist definitely not the cheesecake one may be used to in the US! However, I do wish the ube flavor was a bit stronger as it had a very subtle taste of ube. Overall a good dessert snack especially if you're not wanting something heavy, and I'd definitely visit again to try their tarts or their burnt basque cheesecake.

Cute spot on the corner. The location was absolute because it was located near the movie theater and other vendors with savory dishes. This was my first time trying Japanese desserts, omg soooo yummy. I've ordered the matcha original cheese tart and the Oreo cheese cake. Both were fluffy and fresh out of the oven. When I arrived, their was no line but it was difficult to find a place to eat. The service was fast and everyone were very friendly and polite.
If you're used to New York cheesecake, which is what's served at most places in the US, this is much lighter and not as sweet. This is the kind of cake that you'll want a second slice of.
