My husband and I have been coming here for 2 years. The best sweet and sour chicken , pork fried rice I've ever had. There so nice, if I ask for extra sauce no problem. Best place ever! Toni Jeff Nelson View all feedback.
What TravelCat Supreme doesn't like about Great Wall Chinese:
This just isn't good food. We ordered wonton soup, generals chix and chow mein. I couldn't even eat the soup at all. I've been eating Chinese take out for over 30 years..and in several cities. This goes down as some of the worst flavor....or lack of it. It was a mix of bland and salty no ginger or Shaoxing wine). Bummer. View all feedback.
My old pals Wi Ting Limp and Ho Lee Fuk were up from LA, and in the bay area for a Jin Si tournament at San Jose State, and wanted to meet for lunch. They wanted BBQ and I wanted Chinese so we flipped a coin and I won. Not knowing where to go Wi Ting Limp asked some of the other Jin Si combatants where to go, and they all said the Great Wall is the best authentic Chinese Restaurant in San Jose! And it was Spectacular!5 stars all day long.
Small family restaurant super authentic good and fresh food very welcoming staff came here with my family we had a great dinner
Excellent lunch! Clean, fast, and really good food. Kung Pao Chicken comes with hot sour soup, two wontons, and white rice. Nice proportions. Tea comes in a metal cup that keeps it hot for a very long time. $11.99 lunch makes it very affordable. Open since '99, I 'll be back. Nice Job!
Very good place to grab some popular dishes. Hot, fresh tons of flavor. Owners are lovely people. Well worth it. Wish they were open for lunch. Covid screwed that up and they have not recovered fully.
Very good food..big portionsService was excellent ?
