Best lemongrass chicken I’ve ever tried. Been coming here since 2017 when I attended SJSU right down the street. A friend introduced me to their lemongrass chicken and no other place compares. Food is always fresh and the owner has always been friendly and attentive. A favorite spot in San Jose! View all feedback.
What Kartar Bansel doesn't like about Cơm Gà Nam An Sj:
All I wanted was to use the bathroom to wash my hands and he told me it's for paying customers only. If it was an emergency to use the bathroom, you're better off using the bathroom at Punjab Cafe. He was very rude and disrespectful after I tried talking to him nicely. View all feedback.
Came here for the Hainan chicken rice but found that lemongrass grilled chicken is surprisingly good! Quantity is impressive. Very Juicy. Taste is great. I also like the sticky rice option. The owner is very polite and there is always plenty of parking slots in their own lot. Parking: Always able to find parking spots

The Miến Gà is not good: only a few pieces of chicken, and its soup tastes like hot water with salt, no flavor at all. I do not recommend this dish, it isn't worth $18.
Really special food, great for dining in and take out.
This was literally the best pho ga that I’ve ever eaten in my life aside from what my dad and my mom make. From the moment I sat down and ordered. I was greeted with so much hospitality. I ordered number 16, which is the pho ga and goi ga. it came out so quickly it was delicious and flavorful, but felt light and didn’t taste like it had any MSG. I would eat here again. The owner was so sweet and made me a to go cup of tea.
