Closed: Loaf Ladle - Sagle

This is my top choice for dining by the lake. The staff is friendly and there is a full bar available. The food is also fantastic.

We paid $45 for two pre-made dry sandwiches and two beers. It's disappointing to see how much the quality has declined, and it's not just due to Covid.

This year, the restaurant is one of the few options on the lake that is dog-friendly. Despite facing staffing challenges and supply issues like many other places, they offer a limited menu. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the available menu options are good. It may not be perfect, but they are making an effort and remaining open for business.

I recently called for the 4th of July weekend and was disappointed to find out that they are only serving cold food. While I understood this policy last summer during the pandemic, I am now eager to dine out again. Additionally, they do not accept reservations. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant is located in a very cool spot by the lake and the staff is excellent. I am keeping my fingers crossed that by next summer, we will have more options for waterfront dining.

We had a lovely and peaceful stop on our way back from paddleboarding at this restaurant. It is located right by the water with delicious food and drinks. The staff are also very friendly.
