I was a bit confused about the location at first so I called and the staff was polite and helpful with directions.. Upon arriving the atmosphere as well as the staff was very welcoming. I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich and received a delightful surprise.. I must admit one of the best sandwiches I ate in 2022.Truly an authentic taste of Chicago and the staff is amazing. The Chicago Dog was delicious. Was not sure about the puree, tomatoes, pepper and mustard comb, but it works.
Definitely a cotender for favorite food on the marketplace. Food is made fresh and tastes great portions are fair and service is fast. Owners are super nice and take care of you. Would especially recommend the Chicago dog if you never had one. Your Chicago dogs are better than those I had in Chicago.
Where else beside Chicago you can get an Italian beef sandwich (finished naturally) dusted with Hot Giardiniera. I was very surprised.
I spent 10 years living in the Chicago area and I missed these sandwiches so much I think it was absolutely delicious can't wait to go back.
