The service was efficient, and the homemade pasta was outstanding. The appetizers served before dinner were also excellent. They have an impressive wine list with reasonably priced selections. The location is great, although I recommend enhancing the area further to improve the overall experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hamptons Hawaiian Saimin Shop:
We dined here for an evening meal and chose to try their Italian pasta dishes. When we arrived, we placed our orders promptly. Our meals came out within minutes – one was hot, while the other was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, the pasta itself was nothing to write home about. Given the premium prices, we expected significantly better quality and at least one hot beverage. Overall, we were quite disappointed. View all feedback.

I spent six months in the Hamptons due to the pandemic and enjoyed about nine or ten meals at the restaurant in person, with an additional two or three takeout meals from Dopo. Hands down, this place and its other East Hampton locations are the best restaurants in the area. The food is fresh, the ingredients are top-notch, and the drink and wine selections are excellent, complemented by attentive service. In the Hamptons, there simply isn't a better restaurant than Dopo. When you compare it to established favorites like Nick & Toni's, which has seen better days, or Bilboquet, there's just no comparison. I hesitate to say it, as I don't want to see it become overly commercial, but honestly, there is no better restaurant in the Hamptons. Well done, Maurizio!
I love this place! I have gone to this restaurant since the opening, and I always come back because I always enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. it is a great place to sit at the bar for drinks or eating, sitting outside on their deck or eating in their dining room in the inner, summer or winter. I can't say enough about this place because it always feels like home, since eating is consistently excellent and the personal is always friendly and attentive.
My son and I ate dinner last night at Dopo La Spiaggia. We were warmly greeted into a very cozy dining room. I had the rigatoni and my son had the grilled salmon. Both dishes were very good as was the service. We will definitely be back.
