Sips Wine - Safety Harbor

Wine is fantastic and the service was great. Go! Loves the interior design.

After driving by this place a few hundred times, we finally stopped in and I am glad that we did. They have a few options for tasting wine. The traditional tasting is picking glass pours from a traditional menu and getting served at your table. Alternatively, you can get a card that you use to dispense various quantities of wine into your glass (as self-service). The cool thing about the self-service wine is that there is a wide selection of options. With various quantity options, it makes it more affordable to try higher price point wines. For example, if it would normally be $30 for a full glass (6 oz), you may be able to get a 1.5 oz taste for $10. From an ambiance side, the place is great because it has indoor and outdoor seating. Seating inside also has couches, high tables, and low tables. It makes for a fun tasting experience.

I stopped today while enjoying the beautiful weather in the security harbour and having the Happy Hour flight from Pinot Noir. The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all wines. I just sat at the bar and enjoyed her when people came in. It is easy to see why Sips is so popular and has good reviews. The interior is really nice, friendly staff, owners on site and discussions with guests, and the prices are really appropriate for the quality of wine in the building. I saw some charcuterie boards went out and they looked great and would definitely go back with friends, just for it.

I was in Sips a few times when in Safety Harbor and it's always a big stop when we're down. I stopped after work yesterday and had a Pinot Noir wine flight on the Happy Hour price and it was only $14 for 3 generous pouring. The whole wine was good and the server knew all the details about what was before me. Very friendly staff, a huge range of wines to taste, and a cool place inside. It looks like it's a great place for people to learn about wine and for those who are more experienced to try something else.

Wonderful place for different wines in downtown Safety Harbor. You have a wide selection of wines and also a wine wall where you can get a map and taste different wines. They also offer various flights of wine and champagne if you want to try different things. Nice tasting room. They also serve cheese and sausages, which I think is perfect with wine. Great staff, friendly and great recommendations made to wine. Very knowledgeable. 3-9 Tuesday to Thursday, 3-11 Friday and Saturday, 3-8 Sunday and closed on Monday.
