One of my favorite restaurants in the whole Tampa Bay area! Outstanding service knowledgeable, courteous, and no rushing you out of the door. Absolutely delicious food! Among my favorites are lamb, beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, grilled octopus, crab dip, and escargot. Very reasonably priced! A bit packed/loud inside but excellent on the patio. Definitely worth the drive; can’t wait to return! View all feedback.
What Mark Stanton doesn't like about Parts of Paris:
It shouldn't take two hours from start to finish. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The place was too hot, our water turned warm quickly. Your only options to drink is water or alcohol and I think that is the reason the kept it so warm. We were planning to make this a regular place but for over $100 and six dishes, one was worthy and good. Our Suzette was like soup and meats were over done and tough. Pomme frites... Always a warm and cozy place. great atmosphere and personal.
I had great hopes. parts of paris came highly recommended and although I had read some not so cheap reviews about slow service, cold eating and stale brot, not all reviews are accurate. So go to the restaurant for a birthday party with my wife. the atmosphere is charming and the staff is polite. the drinks, lemon drop martini and an espresso martini were great. after that came the disappointment. escargot was tasteless with hard stale brot. the brot served before dinner was the same and butter so cold and hard that I tried to use the table candle light as warmer. I will say my lamb tasted great, but the kartoffels and the green beans that accompanied the lamb were as cold as the butter with the brot served. also the birthday meal of my wife of scallops and garnels were excellent, but again not hot. overall, a down. Since our visit, I have said that I should sit on the bar if I want to eat faster and warm. try this route if we ever return.
Charming French bistro, which allows an elegant dinner in the dining room or a casual dinner or appetizer in the bar area. thank you for a beautiful evening of the ladies! parfait! we are coming back.
Unfortunately this is not the same restaurant that it was earlier. it does not seem that they are very good cleaning, especially the bathroom. my feet hang every step on the floor. the service was slow, although there were few people. we had to fly our waiter more than once. escargot we are simply cooked in butter, no garlic or petersilie are found. the crabcake was a little fishy. the filets are no longer cooked with wood and there was no drop of juice on the plate. the filet was not particularly dry, but also not particularly juicy. I'm sad to say we won't return.
Such a lovely experience! Yummy food, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. I really enjoyed the mussels and frites paired with a French 75. Thank you!
