Love this place! Small plates options are the best and I love that food comes out when it's done, always piping hot. The food is excellent and drink menu is lovely with yummy options. View all feedback.
What Monica Cole doesn't like about Green Springs:
Manager unprofessional and rude during a simple phone call. She needs to hire someone who knows how to treat people and make a good first impression or get out of the service industry entirely. Now I see how many bad recent reviews they have. Awful. View all feedback.

Very disappointed on many fronts... Meat is either under cooked raw or overcooked which I could understand once in a while but this has become a theme here. The dishes overall are just ok, nothing that makes me say, wow and if there is no wow factor at these prices what 's the point with surrounding restaurants providing that experience. It 's also usual they consider themselves Tapas and coin the phrase that entrees may come out at different times (excuse that we don 't have heat lamps) so that 's where their definition of Tapas comes in. They have regular app 's and large plates like most restaurants, there is absolutely nothing cohesive to Tapas... Servers are very nice however there has always been a very loooong wait for cocktails even when it 's not busy, again inconsistency w/cocktails. One of our visits included dessert that had hardly any whip cream which was quite runny, told it was the end of the batch gee thanks... The absolute last straw was being upcharged a $1.00 for switching mashed potato for jasmine rice which was horribly sticky w/hard flecks and no seasoning at all, basically white rice. I inquired about the charge bc the waiter didn 't inform me of this and frankly it was the principle of the point to be so cheap and insulting to me as a consumer. For a moment I thought don 't bother just pay it but looking at the tab of a decent bill I thought how completely petty on their part. Went to discuss it speaking w/the bartender (slim mustached guy) who completely mishandled the entire discussion, this btw was the only wow factor of the evening. He became defensive and argumentative reiterating it 's the cost of doing business and it cover expenses for the change. Hmmm, last I checked white rice is a hell of a lot cheaper than potatoes! He then told me he 'd pay the dollar for me while reaching in his pocket, really, you 're going there to insult and argue w/a customer? He refused to adjust the bill, then the manager (long haired blonde) inquired about the issue and pretty much stood by the bartenders take on the upcharge, then our waiter who was great said it was his fault for not telling us but really he 's not to blame. It was only then they mgr said she 'd take it off but now the deed was done, the experience completely ruined. I live in SH which is a somewhat small community however their attitudes apparently are of they 'll move on just fine, though this is what you get w/absentee owners. It is also obvious the owners don 't respond to reviews or possibly bother, perhaps circling back to why the place isn 't as busy as it could be.
We had a wonderful meal. We enjoyed the tapas menu. We had gumbo, crab cakes, risotto, and Greek style small pizza. We highly recommend this for excellent casual dining.
Nice menu, food is always perfect... and the seating and setting is comfortable. You won’t be disappointed we haven’t !
