We are on the way to Udaipur and found this restaurant for lunch. Very simple and clean restaurant. However no... read more Our lunch was included in the price of a day trip, booked from the U.K.We were warmly welcomed and invited to choose our food from the cooking pots. However no water nor bread was served and we were later asked to pay for the fizzy drinks we'd been offered as this wasn't part of the pre-paid meal apparently! We weren't offered tea or coffee either, though our driver was :) A Sikh family left complaining vigorously about the lack of water, and we left a large French family drink beers and fizzy drinks so don't know how their experience ended.

We arrived after the usual lunch hours around 3 o'clock. The food from the à la carte menu was decent, nothing extraordinary but not bad either. The ambiance was pleasant, resembling a charming countryside cafe.
