This is a fantastic Cidery. The setup is great, with lots of outdoor seating, and some covered seating as well. Plenty of heaters out and a firepit as well. The Cidertender we had was awesome, I can't remember her name though, and I even asked about it specifically. But she was awesome. The Cider itself was a little hit or miss for me, but that's to be expected when you try 10 different things : The ones that do hit... View all feedback.
If you are looking for an unbeaten path to relax with cold pear ciders with friends and family, this is for you! Hemly is in the middle of an orchard surrounded by pears, tomato fields, and rows of corn. The view is breathtaking, and cider varieties are awesome! My favorites are jalapeños, lemonade, pink lady, and of course, the original. Must go place! Walk around pear orchard! Games for the children and juices, too!
The cider-tasting room is tucked away in a pear orchard off Highay 160. It is a pretty drive to the tasting room. The building is beautiful with lots of outdoor seating, a gazebo, croquet set, a jenga game, and other comforts. The staff is very friendly. The lady with whom I spoke is very knowledgeable about the many varieties of ciders, the history of the business (it 's been in operation for some 160 years), and local information concerning the surrounding area in the Delta. The ciders are terrific. I would recommend purchasing a flight, which is a series of small, taster glasses of each type of cider. I highly recommend stopping here and enjoying the cider and the peacefulness of the atmosphere.
My husband, daughter and I finally made it out to Hemly cider. Hemly cider is my favorite cider. The outdoor area is super cute . You can bring your own games and food. Highly recommend trying a flight to enjoy all of their amazing flavors. Service was quick . We will definitely be back
I was excited to try Hemly Cider as I am a big fan of cider in general. They are located in a fairly remote part of Sacramento County south of Courtland off River Road. And off River Road is a loose term as you will need to drive a fairly long way along a dirt road to reach the facility. Parking is decent, but may get tight during peak times or events. The place looks great. It has a modern rustic look straight out of Pinterest. Most of the facility is outdoors with several tables with umbrellas and other seating areas including a covered sofa area and a terrace patio. There is a large lawn for the kids to play on and the requisite cornhole and other games. On my visit, there was a portable toilet near the parking area in addition to the full restroom on the back side of the bar.The cider seems to be a work in progress. I got a flight of four samples and was not impressed with the pure versions. The flavored ciders are pretty good including a nice cherry option. Prices are reasonable, and taking digital payment in the middle of a field is pretty impressive. My day was very windy, so be prepared for that.If you are in the area, Hemly Cider is probably a good place to linger. Their product is available in stores or purchasing in person. If you make the journey here, it is worth a stay.

We walked out with a fair amount of product. Would definitely go back.
