Pretty good! Got the spicy red sauce pepperoni, sausage, tomatoes jalapeños... They should slow down how fast it goes through the oven so the crust is lil more cooked as the slices just fall apart when you pick them up...but still good flavor. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Pizza Press (natomas):
Pizza was flavorful but the crust wasn't done enough that my 2 year old spit it out. He enjoyed the edges of the pizza but nothing more. I ate it because I needed to. If you like soggy crust this is the place. View all feedback.
The pizza wasn't cooked all the way and the wings were not baked enough. Found out the wings are frozen. The best thing here was the beer on tap. The pizza didn't take long but the wings took double the time to bake. The employees were really friendly and nice, just didn't expect underbaked pizza and wings.
Unfortunately we won't go there anymore. They cant get your order right plus their pizza is always so greasy. Seriously everything went just down the hill this year. I don't recommend going there
This place was pretty good. I came in with my hubby and 4-month old in his car seat. It 's definitely family friendly! Car seat fit in the booth and there were lots of others with infants/kiddos there. The pizza is alright, it 's really fun to be at a pizza bar , in a sense, so that makes it cool. Who doesn 't want to create their own pizza? ' I 'm not a fan of the super thin crust pizza but I guess that 's why they call it pizza press . They literally press your pizza dough. They DO offer a double dough option so I will definitely try that next time! My husband and I both came to the same conclusions. The pizza is good and the beer options are great! We LOVE living in the brew-city of Sac and think it 's local beer options were good. I ordered the michelada with Berryessa and IDK what michelada mix they use, or if it 's maybe house made, but it was SOOOOO GOOD. Hubby ordered a Bike Dog, fruity sour, and he really enjoyed (I took a sip and loved it too). We only had 2 complaints. Call us picky but the method they put our toppings on sorta sucked. My girl lobbed everything on and there was so much space between my crust and my toppings and it was so uneven. STILL super delicious! The other complaint is the service. Love that the place is employing young people but there was NO FIRE under these peeps! I was observing while waiting for my pizzas and it actually drew my attention. It was almost like they had a bad team meeting before their shift or something. No smiles or anything. Maybe they 're new and still learning, who knows! But they moved like snails. Overall, we liked the place! We came after getting our Christmas tree before going back home and we 're glad we stopped by!
This was an alright experience, the pizza was soft/soggy even though I asked for extra crispy. The wings were super wet and they told us it was frozen and they had to put it through again. Also didn't realize it was like personal pizzas and you choose your own toppings kind of pizza place.
This is my second time at The Pizza Press for lunch. It was 3 of us for lunch today. I ordered the The daily which is a one topping pizza of choice and 5pc chicken wings in the mango habanero sauce. My friends ordered the build your own pizza which is reasonably priced as well. First thing I noticed is they don't hold back on the cheese, they loaded up up my pizza with lots of cheese and asked if I wanted more before adding my topping. I went with pepperoni of of course and they added some shredded Gouda cheese to give it some more flavor. My pizza came out hot and crispy and they asked if I wanted any extra sauce on top or on the side. I got some ranch, pizza and wings and went to town on this yummy food. I really liked the pizza and the ranch is fresh and cold like it should be. The wings were okay since they just add the sauce on the wings when they come out. They get a bit soggy that way but the sauce was good. My friends pizza looked great loaded with lots of good stuff. I got no complaints from them and one said it was good and filling. The place had lots of room with TVs everywhere. The bar area seemed like they don't use it, but it had lots of room maybe when they have sport or events in the area. Overall we enjoyed our pizza and the price is good as well. They have an app for ordering in advance and you can also get points to redeem for free stuff. Great spot for lunch.
