This restaurant is anything but pretentious. There is no attempt at having trendy decor, and it feels genuine. The service is friendly, polite, and efficient. The food is delicious, and I have always been satisfied with everything I've tried. I highly recommend reserving the ribs on Wednesdays. The drink selection is also quite impressive. What User doesn't like about Roxie Deli Barbeque:
I had high hopes and expectations for this little East Sac deli and BBQ. Got there around 1:30 with friend that recommended it. Thursday and Friday I heard were brisket days so I ordered the BBQ sandwich. Didn't live up to expectations. It was very short on brisket. Toppings were a little thin too....not a big deal. The brisket didn't have the rich smoked flavor I expected. Did have a little smoke ring though. Friend... View all feedback.
I got the bbq Chicken sandwich, couldn’t tell the difference between the small and medium size.
Just stumbled upon this place looking for lunch and was immediately drawn to the smoker outside. The pulled pork had a perfect smokey balance that was of higher category than your traditional BBQ restaurants claimed smokey flavor. This place was built by those who love bbq and know how to do it properly. Absolutely coming back
This is my new favorite restaurant when I am in the area; they have a wide selection of delicious food! Overall, their prices are very reasonable and they have a nice variety of options to choose from. The location is convenient and they have a lovely outdoor terrace area. Roxie Deli Barbeque doesn't need flashy advertising or a fancy storefront, they offer a classic old school deli with friendly staff and delicious barbeque.
Excellent, huge sandwiches. Tri-Tip smoked in front of location. the tri-tip is juicy tender as such a sandwich should be. they also have other meat vegetarian options. the deli crew is fun and seems to enjoy what they do. sitting outside the terrace.

May try again, but I seriously expected more from a place that bills itself as a BBQ deli.
