Back in the day I used to eat here all the time but not so much now there was plastic in my food like wrapping from a container wasn't too thrilled about that and they only gave me two flautas for that much money there should be at least three I most likely will probably not eat here again. Twelve of us enjoyed a great evening at Rick's Hacienda last night. All long time fans of El Novillero, but they won't take reservations, even for a large party. A two hour wait does not make a birthday party. Disappointed in them. Glad it happened though, as Rick's turned out to be friendly accomodating. IMO, the margaritas, crispy flour corn chips, salsa, awesome carnitas (no fat or grease were better. (And we weren't nickel dimed to death for the chips. I urge fans of the Nov to try this place you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Ricks Hacienda, serve amazing food and their customer service is most professional. The owners Gilbert and Carmen are very down to earth people and make you feel at home. I have been coming to this awesome restaurant for several years now and have celebrated several birthdays here as well. Each Birthday they make it even better. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays they have Karaoke. If you wish to celebrate your birthday call Ricks Hacienda and make your reservation I guarantee you will not regret it. For great authentic Mexican food I 100% recommend this restaurant.
I gave four stars because the last two time we went our service could have been better. We didnt know who was waiting on us, didnt get our tortillas until food was about gone. There was a pleasant young woman always smiling we gave the tip to. She wasnt even the one who served us us. The food came fast but very small portions. They have great food, but for the prices plates should be better. If you do decide to go try the shrimp wrapped in bacon.. excellent!
