Red Runner Pizza - Sacramento

I grew up in New York and since I moved to California, no pizza could compare with NY-style pizza. But I ordered a paprika pizza from here and when I had this first bite, it just reminded me of home. Do you want to taste the New York style pizza for a fabulous price? Order of Red Runners!

Always has some crazy insane loss-leader deal going where you get 2 pizzas a bag full of groceries for like $12, but the real magic happens when you order a specialty pizza customize it even though it's twice as expensive. Halal menu on request. Frankly that should probably be advertised more you kinda have to be in there to know that. I suppose that demo is more word of mouth. Anyways you ain't gonna get that stuffed crust garlic butter glazed whatever but you *will* get that perfect 1980s pizza all the trimmings all the sauce packets little stack of plates with the napkins. Only thing they're missing is a pacman next to a Simpsons arcade.

This place been around since I was a teen and I'm sure before that. I'm in my mid 30s went back here and can't stop! It's a very delicious tasting pizza. Dough soft and crisp in just the right places. Sauce is genuine to my liking. Nice little location as well with great deals. It's my one stop before I got the road just wish it was in my city so it's a must go when I'm in Sacramento and in the area.

On Valentine?s Day 2019, I ask them to deliver a pizza to my fiancé since we aren?t in the same state. They were patience with me and they delivered the pizza on time to the hotel I requested. Really great customer service and fiancé said the pizza was delicious. Thanks for making this day special ?
