it is worth stopping. the pace and roll were very good. the sashimi was fresh. the service was slow, other tables that came after us were served faster, which tends to make the waiting time more difficult. we will try. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about O-toro Sushi Shabu:
this was on Valentine's Day, the edamame we ordered never came and we had to cancel it, and the nagiri, something that should not take any time to make it needed to be ordered three times to the server before it came after everything else was already served and eaten. other than that, eating is excellent if a little expensive. would recommend going on a non-worked day. I've always seen this place driving by and wondered if it was any good, and I'm happy to say it was delicious! Food was great, looooved their chicken yaki udon stir fry as an entrée. The spicy edamame has a nice little kick to it, makes for a great appetizer. The spicy Ramen definitely was spicy, but what was nice was that the spice didn't linger, it was a fleeting feeling of a burning sensation only to slowly wear off moments later. If you're wanting to change things up from your usual midtown spots, I say check out O'Toro and give em a try! Also! Our waiter was so helpful and did a fantastic job of explaining the dishes, the host was super nice too! Overall great experience with the staff!
It was really good. This is now in my top 3 sushi place ever. The sushi melted on my tongue and the ramen was made from the Japanese gods itself. 10 out of 10
Love sushi! This place has good Food. My down side was the Tako(octopus), it was a little tough to eat.
The food here is delicious. The service was excellent. Will definitely come back again.
