Husband liked his crushed breakfast Burrito and I enjoyed the Polnta breakfast. Have a short stack of pancakes (they are fluffy! and also a Mexican hot chocolate. They order at the counter and they do not take cards (only cash). Small place, but perfect for a week visit, it was not too busy on Thursday at 9:45 and we sat at one of the 4 outdoor tables. What User doesn't like about Nopalitos Southwestern Café:
Many good things a lot bad things. We have the sauteed veggie breakfast Burrito and the cheese and yellow maize peel. The burrito had many vegetables, a big plus, but it lacked in any real taste. The cheese and corn was very tasty, but the pico was undesirable and was was wasting the food that was under it. View all feedback.
As a first-time visitor, I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of avocado eggs. The only downside was that they only accept cash, and I didn't have enough on me to sample the pancakes—what a shame! I'm definitely looking forward to returning and trying them out.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food. It was incredibly flavorful and fresh—truly exceptional! The only downside is that they don't accept credit cards, so make sure to bring cash. However, this minor inconvenience is totally worth it for the fantastic food.
My husband really enjoyed his crushed breakfast burrito, and I loved the polenta breakfast. We also had a short stack of pancakes, which were wonderfully fluffy, along with a delicious Mexican hot chocolate. You order at the counter, and they only accept cash, so be prepared for that. It’s a small place, but perfect for a week-long visit. It wasn't too busy on Thursday at 9:45, and we were able to sit at one of the four outdoor tables.
There were many positives and several negatives during our visit. We ordered the sautéed veggie breakfast burrito and the cheese and yellow corn. The burrito had a good variety of vegetables, which was a big plus, but it failed to deliver any real flavor. On the other hand, the cheese and corn were quite tasty; however, the pico de gallo was unappealing and ended up ruining the dish beneath it.
This restaurant is safe, quick, friendly, and clean. I was on the hunt for some breakfast burritos for myself and my coworkers. It's important to be cautious when choosing a spot; we want something delicious but want to avoid any health risks that can come with some of the more authentic-looking places. Nopalitos is a local gem with genuine decor and a welcoming atmosphere, all while maintaining high cleanliness standards. The service is speedy, and the breakfast burritos are perfect—flavorful without being greasy. It has a very safe and comfortable vibe. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!
