I've visited this restaurant a couple of times for brunch and to watch an NFL game, and most recently, I went to play. The brunch experience was fantastic. The wings were really impressive, and the cheesesteak was probably the best I've ever had. The beverage service was quick, and their prices are quite reasonable. I will definitely be back. What User doesn't like about Limelight Cafe Card Room:
To be fair, the bar is great and the food is good. The biggest problem with this place, however, is the kitchen and the waiting times are terrible.!!! If I go a 20 something for underless mimosas surely id forget the waiting time for food. That said not hungry you were disappointed. Wow my friends and went from Mc Kinley Park to Safeway and decided we were hungry. There was the scent when delicious food in the air. We saw all people and decided to try. We were absolutely satisfied. Not only with the food, but also with the service. We could sit right now. The place is clean. The hostess was nice. Our server, Matt, was great and offered the right amount of attention. We had the Saturday brunch / lunch menu.
Always comfortable my recent visit to Limelight was relaxed and cozy. I always try to get the 2 orange velvet chairs in the dining room. My calamari frittata was delicious. Just the right supper for my 1st Sunday of Lent! My waitress, Nancy, was cordial and helpful. I really enjoyed the young couple playing darts games! Enjoy yourself when you drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Limelight is a staple establishment located in East Sacramento, staff is awesome, food is excellent, especially the weekend brunch, this is our go to for NFL football and I usually sneak in a few hands of poker at halftimes.
I visit the limelight on a weekly basis and there is quality food and service every time. Great place to grab a meal and enjoy a football game.
Great ambience with a patio and music in the open parking lot. Food was good, we ordered calamari fry, garlic tots, pizzas, sliders and burgers.
