Kodaiko Ramen - Sacramento

One my most favorite Japanese curry and tofu katsu I've ever had. My friends loved the spicy kick from the sambal in their ramen. The garlic nori fries were unique and I loved the kimchi-ness of the ketchup, but wish the fries were crunchier (and less floppy). I adored the art work and the drink menu. Our wait staff did apologize for the delay but unfortunately service was extremely slow on Sunday night when we stopped by and some add-ons in our orders were missed or were unavailable. Will definitely go back to taste the ramen and other interesting looking items on the menu.

Ramen brooth were very flavorful, unique, but balanced. The shrimp dumpling had a hint of lemon, but it did not over power the ramen. Tonkatsu brooth was VERY lucious and creamy (ordering this next time I come).

The atmosphere was pretty good and services were great but I didn't like the ramen. I ordered Reuben one. It was very salty and lack of flavor. Also the garlic fries was just frozen fries with sweet tomato sauce. My friend ordered lobster ramen and his soup tasted weird, sour and salty.

Hands down the finest ramen house in the Sacramento area.. chill vibe and great atmosphere. The underground feel is perfect and the ramen is top notch. Add to that the side dishes and great cocktails and you have the perfect hangout for friends or date night!
