I always stay here when I visit the nearby Asian markets. Although the staff's English is somewhat limited, I communicate through gestures and have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is the tofu-stuffed jalapeños. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Huong Sen Tofu:
I asked politely: “Hello! what is vegan and what is vegetarian?” the women behind the counter do not look at me and snore “all is vegetarian not vegan” she said as if I were somehow annoying her. I confirmed “So nothing is vegan” she snaps back “No! nothing is vegan”. wow. I was kind of blown away, how rude she was. View all feedback.

The day I went here I met one of the owners, and she was the sweetest and kindest woman. This place is both a takeout and store. She let us try many samples of her food, and was just a pleasure to talk to. Beautiful energy, everything there is extremely cheap in comparison to regular vegan food you would find. Much of the food is also free of onion and garlic as well. You can find Asian veg treasures such as vegan fish sauce, jerky from Taiwan, pork pieces, fresh soy milk, and much more. The tofu was extremely cheap, 6 prices for $1! Check this place out if you can!
There are so many things to try! This is an authentic deli style Vietnamese restaurant that sells many veggie grocery items. I bought some good soy-milk and tofu from here. They sell lots of pre-made items you can grab to go like sticky rice and steam buns. The food is flavorful and authentic. In my opinion it's the best veggie Vietnamese in the Sacramento area.
Five bucks can get you two entrees of your choice with of carb (rice or noodles) of your choice!! They also sell many authentic Vietnamese food, snacks, and soy milk. You won't find anything tastier and cheaper than this hidden gem.
Huong Sen is either the cheapest or one of the least expensive places to get good quality vegetarian/vegan food. A small place set up deli counter-style. The plain fried tofu is delicious and a real bargain--many tofu-based dishes on the menu. They could use a few more vegetable dishes. Worth at least two visits to get a sampling of dishes. Located in a small shopping center that is about 90% Vietnamese businesses. You will spend about half as much as you would in most veggie restaurants. Cook your own rice at home and buy your entrees, appetizers here.
