What a hidden gem imo. Great food, we had exceptional service when we visited for brunch. The bar here looked awesome. The atmosphere is tastefully done. Wish I had another night in Sac town to eat dinner and enjoy drinks at the Hook and Ladder. I highly recommend this place and will visit again when in Sacramento.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.

This place was ok. When we first arrived the man at the host stand waited to greet us while he was working on his iPad and made us feel like we were bothering him. We sat on the front patio because that was the only patio that dogs were allowed on. Our server was nice and pretty attentive. The food and drinks I would give a 7/10. They're vegan friendly. But I got a salad and pizza and both were bitter and not very good. Wouldn't recommend. Also very expensive.
Food was nice vegan menu changes often. I ordered falafel wrap, garlic fries(fresh garlic and a garlic oil drizzle) and vegan mac and cheese that was the only thing I didn 't enjoy as it didn 't have a lot of flavour. Really nice atmosphere and separate vegan menu so made ordering so much easier.

I'll get mixed groups out here for a casual night. The food is a crowd gift for vegans and not. There are attractive and well-designed vegan options all day in apps, main dishes, pizza and drinks. A complete bar and no alcoholic beverage menu.
I had the best spaghetti and vegan meatballs. Mmm had this for an anniversary dinner and my husband and I loved it! Great Marinara, too.
