We had an explosion here at the Magic City Hippies concert! Fun venue with a cool atmosphere. The drinks are also pretty good. There is an outdoor terrace that is very spacious and has places to sit and get air. Inside there is only room, unless you have reserved a stand on the side of the room. Great place to see a show! What Catherine Johnston doesn't like about Harlow's:
Last time at Harlow's, was my last time at Harlow's. First, the ATM machine was not working, so the Management had us standing outside for an hour plus in the cold. We arrived early, to get a seat. Just before the show, the bouncers let in a bunch of people who took every seat in the place. I was pissed, I had them give me back my door charge... If I wanted to stand around for hours, this would be a great place to se... View all feedback.
Great music room, great seating, delicious food and drinks. Enough menu items to choose from. The ambience is a bit dark, but it's a place of music. I...
This is a small place on the 2nd floor. We played three bands. The bar was very good with the mixed drinks. I just had one like I usually didn't...
My friends and I came to the show last Thursday. I was unfamiliar with the artist, but excited to hear new music. Only the Bouncer at the door...
I was with Kindred Family Soul. I loved the concert. New and my brother went, the show was to begin at 7PM we there at 6:45 and the waitress told us we have the last order of the wings, they were already out of wings. I told my brother, the show hasn't started yet, how are they out of wings? We ordered other things and come to the conclusion that the food is not good, but the band and the crowd were funny.
This is a small place on the 2nd floor. We played three bands. The bar was very good with the mixed drinks. I only had one like I usually don't drink. The first and third bands were balanced ok between the instruments and the song. The 2nd band had the sling drum too loud, which overshadowed the performance. I think the soundman of the venue was responsible for balancing the sound. The second band played excellent music, but one had to listen very hard to the vocals, as the soundman of the venue did not do his job. On a Saturday night, this place should be full, but it was quite economical. Management should improve the sound balance to really play the talents of the bands. I know what I'm talking about because I'm not just audiophile, but I was the former videographer for a band that played in Sonoma County and was one of my jobs to zoom into the solos of lead guitarist, keyboardist and drummer. I told her sound guy who was at the mixer's control that he was gone. He made the adjustments and the people danced.
