Edokko has the best ramen I had in sac. The chicken brother is so yummy. The staff is very friendly. I just hate they still have limited hours. I drive all the way from the rancho area to get my fix

I had the Edokko Don, this is an omelet with katsu chicken and shrimp tempura over rice. I have been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants and this is one of my favorite meals to eat here. Their udon is better than udon in San Francisco's Japan town. This place has a rating of 3.5 out of 199 reviews. I don't understand why, not a fancy place, they don't do fancy sushi. Just good, basic Japanese food. Service is great, unfortunately you can only order to go for now. Great lunch specials.

We eat there every week ,always great food ,fresh fish and good prices Glad they survived the pandemic and didn’t have to close ,I think it’s the best Japanese food in the neighborhood and the girl who takes our order is so sweet too

Hidden gem of a traditional Japanese restaurant!! Lovely people and wonderful eating experience! Highly recommend going for lunch and dinner specials!

We ordered 45 minutes before they closed, and my husband promptly fell asleep. He arrived 5 minutes before they closed, and the food was still so hot I had to wait for it to cool off. A ton of food for the price, I got Udon and he got chicken curry. Very delicious stuff, super friendly staff.
