Downtown Vine - Sacramento

We went for lunch and couldn't really take advantage of the wine selections. I like the cariety of small bites. The outdoor seating overlooks Kay street so great people watching, but the day we were there there was construction which was intrusive. The inside is very comfy seating, more like a den atmosphere but it was too nice a day to sit inside.

I visited Downtown and Vine in search of a new dinner spot, but was disappointed to find that they were out of several items we wanted to order. This led us to leave early and find another venue. The food was tasty and the wine sampler was fantastic, but we were puzzled by the management of the restaurant if they were running out of items so early in the evening.

My first visit to this restaurant was a great experience! We enjoyed trying their wine flights, which offered three 2-ounce glasses for tasting with our meal. I appreciated that they served small plates instead of large entrees, allowing us to try a variety of dishes. The service was excellent, our server was very knowledgeable about the wines we sampled.

The restaurant has an excellent selection of wines and a great happy hour. We were pleased to see they offered wine flights, but since there were four of us, we decided to order a bottle instead. We started with a cheese and charcuterie platter, followed by a light dinner.

The service was fantastic! The server was very knowledgeable about the local wineries and their offerings. Great find! I would definitely return.
