A Real Surprise. Went to this place on the advice of a Sacramento tourist magazine and wow. This place is great, its a small family type business that does everything well. The chicken fried steak was excellent and the service was outstanding. Its really nice to have a small family restaurant that takes pride in what they do. View all feedback. I had high expectations after reading the earlier reviews and my expectations were further bolstered when I saw the crowd of people trying to get in to eat. That?s about where my high expectations ended. I ordered your basic eggs and bacon and neither appeared freshly cooked and made to order.
