The first time, I ordered a cheeseburger, it was messy but wasn 't completely inedible. The bread used isn 't good for burgers as it melts in your hands, right away. The french fries were decent. The servers are very friendly and go out of their way to help you, that 's a plus.I went back about a week later because I wanted to try their Mexican food. The staff raved about it the first time I was there.Being that I am a Latino, I decided to give it a try. Not a good choice!I ordered tacos and fajitas but, what I got wasn 't anything close to what I know as Mexican tacos and fajitas.Now... again, the food wasn 't what I expected but it wasn 't so horrible that I couldn 't eat it. The spices were very interesting and complex, interesting enough to make me try to finish the food. Both of the dishes came with three little peculiar spoonfuls of rice, salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole was some sort of ketchup style sauce, nothing close to what I know to be guacamole. I don 't think they even use real avocados in it.The fajita de pollo, this was something else...I 'm not sure why they wrap the ingredients inside the tortilla (fajita, not burrito) but, it looked more like a type of burrito all covered in some sort of white sauce and lots of corn inside it. Once again, the taste wasn 't that of typical Mexican fajitas but weren 't inedible.Maybe I don 't know what Italians think of what Mexican food is or should be but, if you are Latino, or maybe even from Mexico and you think that you 're going to eat some typical Mexican food here, think again. To be fair...I am married to a Mexican-American lady and I do have over 10 years of professional cooking experience. I do know what Mexican food should look like and taste like and what the Bar Express serve me, wasn 't anything close to Mexican food.By no means am I saying that anyone should avoid this restaurant, I am simply providing my opinion of the Mexican food served here.
