Simple seafood pasta that’s fresh, calamari and shrimp and a bowl of salad and fruit salad for dessert. 2nd dinner was much of the same with an thick pasta that I was a first time for me. A good spread for a continental breakfast and a freshly made cappuccino.
Very nocely furnished hotel and good service. The last 300 meters to the hotel was dark and full of potholes, but when you arrive you get positively surprised. The only disadvantage was that we could hear everything from the ruum next door, you should ask for a quiet room.
I visited this restaurant while staying at the hotel sharing the same structure and garden/park. The setting in the evening with view of the park and lake is splendid. The service is equally very nice. The menu is predominantly fish but seems a bit limited in choice, mainly depending on the catch of the day but all we tried during 2 visits was excellent. The wine list is equally short but contains some very good bottles. If you are staying in the hotel the price of eating in this restaurant each night might be a bit steep. We payed on average 160Euro/night for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 8. This included 1/2 bottle of wine. Having visited several restaurants in the area I think this restaurant deserves a much higher ranking. You should consider a visit if you are looking for a good meal in a splendid environment.
Back after a few years, I also enjoyed after covid, the commitment and the will to maintain high the level of the restaurant of this small charming hotel, even when it is difficult to succeed in doing so in a location that surely suffers from high and low attendance. beautiful equipment, well executed dishes, good raw material. It would be nice to have a dish to push as a point of excellence, and it would be nice to have greater attention to the territory, starting from the wines of the lazio in the paper and in some recipe. spending on the euro and more if you drink well
I and my partner stayed at this butique hotel (san francisco charming) in the quiet area of belsito, very well maintained and overlooking the lake. the restaurant takes advantage of the very special setting (total white) of the cozy interior room and tables in the garden area. so we decided to stop at dinner to try the menu. Unfortunately, however, the courses we have chosen have seemed to be subtone and some, disappointing. a tartare of scampi (of a small size) was served with a slice of mango cut into cubes and thrown them (for the octopus on cream of topinambur even if aesthetically better assorted, it seemed to have untied flavors. the clams and bottarga has not convinced us. Therefore, the price ratio is also unbalanced and also for this reason not if we were satisfied. Too bad because the hotel deserves.
