We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock and four of us visited the restaurant. The drink order was taken relatively quickly, but unfortunately it took quite a long time (about 15 minutes) until we had the drinks (coke and Spezi). And the tables were only about half occupied. It 's a shame that the waiter touched the glasses from above at the top (drinking rim) and not at the bottom. We then wiped the glasses again with the serviette especially after Corona, the topic of hygiene should be more present. He was, to his apology, still very young and shy, maybe just new?! In the meantime we were able to place the food order. 2 x a schnitzel with pepper cream sauce was ordered. Unfortunately, this pepper cream sauce was anything but what you imagine. It was brown gravy with a dollop of whipped cream. Ok, you can probably still accept that, but the sauce was incredibly salty, had nothing to do with pepper pepper cream sauce. Accordingly, stomach pains were inevitable. The other two dishes were fine. The second drink order went a little faster than before. The waitress was a bit more on the ball , think it was the owner. What bothered us, however, was a statement from the chef at the next table...... He wouldn 't feel like passing guests who only come once. He would cook too well for that. This may even refer to us with the Schlemmerblock..... That way you don 't gain guests and you don 't keep guests. Even if we were now satisfied with the food, we would certainly have considered after such a statement whether we would go there again or not. And that the restaurant is in the Schlemmerblock is the decision of the restaurant. And must not be left out with stupid comments and bad service to the guests. We have often visited restaurants that we got to know through the Schlemmerblock and then ate there at the normal price. We will probably not visit this restaurant again. A pity........
