And that's why I find myself on Wednesday afternoons with other members of my heart sports group, after we have had more than 90 minutes of training manager and instructor (no worry, there are always a doctor or a doctor. a doctor, and there is also a defibrillator), in the gymnasium of the gym Bischmisheim 1987 e.V. We have nothing to do with the association as a registered disabled sports group, do not train in their hall but do so in the opposite hall of the primary school at Geisberg. The Turnerheim Bischmisheim is led by Christine English, a diploma of sociologist and co-founder of the Nauwieser 19 factory, known throughout Saarbrücken, whose Café Kostbar had run them 20 years ago, and her husband Michael Micky Meyer, a learned cook. The two have done something with buffets and menus, with barbecues, culinary themed evenings and other events for up to 40 people from a rather scary club home, which now attracts not only a clientele from Bischmisheim, Schafbrücke and surroundings; there are people from all over Saarbrücken. Ambience: Well, tables and seating of club homes are probably covered by a nationwide fundus; I also saw the same furniture in football clubs, diving clubs and other sports clubs; the Schäferhundeverein, in whose clubhouse we had always arrived after the sporting action, had exactly these seats and tables. Simple and practical, no more and no less. Here at the Turnerheim Bischmisheim there are three slate tables on the walls with culinary offers that are available from 5 pm. In the hall there is a bookcase with books brought by guests to take away and exchange; I already know this from the former Klever Local Flöns Schmöker; was there and is well accepted here. There is also a smaller beer garden with a view of a bare place, which only offers a little change at the Kirmetime. The little trees will need decades before they can give the guest shadows; until then there are umbrellas sponsored by a national brewery whose products I do not like. I evaluate the ambience with two and a half stars, for the bookcase there is a half star extra. Three stars. Cleanliness: Five stars. Service: At the time we spend here (approx. 15:30 16:30), the boss makes the service alone; at events and for the evening business, she can access friendly help. There is nothing to complain about at the service; three and a half stars. Food and drink: Insight into the map is available under [here link]. Koch Micky loves not only the regional cuisine, but also has a flaw for French or Asian. What is also reflected in the angebo; besides married couples, various flame cakes, sausage salad or cream carvings, there are also Coq au vin or Indonesian returns. Micky also bakes the offered cakes. eggs and poultrymeat come from local free-land farming, the wild from the region and pig from the Harschberger Hof in St.Wendel; the innkeepers are trying to get everything from the surrounding area, which is really commendable. Unfortunately, I have not been able to taste one of the daily changing tribal dishes or something from the evening menu; the tribal dinners are only from 12 am to 2 pm and before the sport starts at 2 pm I don't want to complete my stomach. And until there are evening offers from 5 pm, I am already gone again to avoid missing the band sample in St.Ingbert in the early evening. So my personal experiences in food and drink at the gym are limited to what I always do here. A Karlsberg Ur Pils from the barrel (0.4l EUR 2.50), a freshly baked pulp (EUR 0.80) and a chop slice garnished with onion rings and crimped parsley (EUR 1.40) . Heart sports group members from Bischmisheim or Schafbrücke, who have already eaten regular meals here or occasionally come to dinner in the evening, are quite prepared by the kitchen performance and even the self-baked cakes should not have to shy comparisons. At some point, I have to test the return that has always been good in Indonesia; until then I forgive three stars for food and drink. Price/performance ratio: absolute o.k., four stars. P.S. photos are not available; the cardiologists would think I was totally clumped if I were to photograph my or her order.
