Simply awful I am here now! Rude and unhelpful staff, a big waste of time. No idea what the food is like, it's impossible to actually order anything to eat or drink Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very expensive food and not at all spectacular. €22.5 for a portion of Palamos prawns that are far from the real Palamos prawns. Good atmosphere but very expensive place for what it is. Slow service Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Bad experience. I am a resident of Sa Riera, and in August I chose not to go since I know that at noon they do not make reservations. Today, September 9, before going to the beach I went to ask if I could make a reservation, they told me no but if we went at 1:30 p.m. I wouldn't have any problem. At this time I went to ask for a table for 4 and they told me they would look. There were 3 tables of 4 and I asked if they could give us a specific table and commenting that it was reserved, naturally we got upset and went to another restaurant. We have had a few words with several employees since they claimed to be right and we understood that the reason was ours. It's no way to treat customers. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It is one of the most expensive beach bars in the area. Very small queue, very little personal service. If you don't want to eat anything, they treat you directly as category ll. Not worth it. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

During our 3 day visit to Begur as a family of five we ended up eating here three times. Being right on the beach (breezy by day, atmospheric by night) we kept being drawn back. Some good options for kids (chicken or burger, sardines for those who like fish), a juicy and tasty Pesto Burata Salad and a delicious catch of the day fish at €75 per kilo for the adults made for a memorable meal. A decent house white wine at €22 a bottle shows they chose something well and did not just opt for the next bottle of plonk. Marco the waiter was efficient, attentive but also (at the end of the night) very friendly, discussing his music taste (great playlist on the second evening) and his life in Berlin with us and the kids. We also had a constant stream of requests (more ice, top up on condiments, we asked to change a dish after it arrived each request was met with a positive and timely response). Yes, there is a supplement to the prices for being in a beach bar but we live in Spain and have had worse food for the same prices for sure. We loved it and will be back. Price per person: €40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
