A pleasant respite from the long trip from Bangkok to Cheng Mai. The local roasted chicken was by far the best item on the menu, but the roasted pork and sum tom we're also well prepared. Cheap yes, and it is an unfortunate truth that cheap is seldom good. In this case we got wrong dishes, instead of vegetarian fried rice it was fried rice with meat, the fried vegetable again was mostly just fried cabbage, the somtam was oversweet and the kai yaang looked more like of a hungry bird than of a chicken.
