Worst Whole Foods ever! The prepared food was sparse and all looked old. The wine section was equivalent to what a 20 something would only want to get drunk off of. Save your real shopping for somewhere else.

1. Bakery staff in Lajolla, though ignorant about any ingredients in the products, are, at least friendly. Hillcrest, I dont even waste time asking anything, such unfriendly nearly hostile unhappy staff, esp the young guy with brown hair who cant be bothered to even think if you ask him a question. ...ALSO , even at 10 A.M. there is RARELY any Whole Grain bread, its all white bread. They used to have Prussian Rye, rarely now. LJ they have many whole grain breads. This was a great store 20 years ago. Thanks Bezos..On the other hand meat, fish, produce, body care, chinese food guys are always very helpful and pleasant....Deli and Breard, not so much...

They have a great selection of pizzas. All their pizzas can be made Vegan. Roque in the deli/ pizza area is amazing!. He takes great care to prepare the pizzas well and pays great attention to detail. I noticed that their menu is not online so I am posting it here

What happened, Whole Foods?!?! Usually everyone is so nice... My sister received a Horrible attitude from one of the employees today. Some young punk kid (looks Arabic or Hispanic , who was cleaning carts, gave my sister attitude because she didn't know the shopping carts went to him after use. He basically yelled at her to give him the cart. I was embarrassed for her. I think well just go to the La Jolla one from now on. However, Pat, who works in the sandwich section was awesome as always:

This can't be the Whole Foods I have to deal with in San Diego. CRAMPED, DARK, DIRTY and a total lack of regard for the the stores hours. I have never been here and regretted it instantly. It feels like shopping at the gas station.
