Urban Crave - S San Diego

It's tough to have any motivation to make real food when you're the only option. Chicken tenders and fries taste like they're straight from the freezer. Cheeseburger tastes like something from the McDonald's value menu. Also, there is a 2% extra surcharge for employee benefits, don't know if that's just a San Diego thing or what, but stupid nonetheless.

Looks fresh but how does it taste? I hope you get served with a smile .

Terminal 2 is very small and this restaurant is location right in the middle of the terminal. Food and service was decent, I wish they have more tables with better chair

Food was amazing. After reading reviews I'm glad I went with the breakfast French Toast. It was better than I expected and seasoned perfectly imo. There was only one waitress so it took her a little longer. But she was OK. Not as friendly but not rude. I think she was as eager to chat to me as other people (white). But overall I'll eat here again.

The place has good food...but the service is lacking. Peter was at the bar and would not take my order and wanted me to sit at a table with my son. I explained to him I did not want to and that we'd only be there for a few minutes. He started to take my order and then pointed be back to the table. I told him again I did not want to sit at a table and this continued for a full minute or two when I finally walked away as he refused to serve me. Walked across the pathway to Jetbox Market and got a burrito and drink...castle free! Advice is if someone's offering you for your service/product take it. Won't go back to this place on principle.
