Uncle Chai Thailand Street Food

This place is delicious and worth the money. I worked at a street Thai place which I really enjoyed but this place gave me so many more options. Their pork is FIRE 90% of the time (one time I wasn't feeling it but overall still worth 5 stars)

The food is fire. The way they make the papaya salad is the real traditional way. Glad to see someone doing it right.

Came on Sunday. Food was good but it was extremely spicy and the young guys behind the counter acted d and refused to give me a cup of water. Wanted me to pay for a bottle only..will go elsewhere next time.

This is what i get for cheating on my favorite Thai (Bahn Thai, excellent food and service at BOTH restaurant locations), but i was very close and wanted to try this new place to me. Very disappointed overall. I walked in, very small place, to go only it seems. I wanted and did not see the employee. Was on a chair behind a big sign on his cell phone. I waited it a while and then asked me what i wanted. I ordered #11 Kow Prik King Moo (Stir-fried pork, long green bean, lime leave over rice). I paid and waited outside on one of the tables. The food came quick and was piping hot, however it was the wrong meal. I did not open the container and but looked at it and had no green beans or rice. It had noodles. They made the wrong meal. I went back in and said this is not what i ordered. The worker had trouble understanding and then said oh no green beans. I said why did i get this is not what I ordered and ask if there is no green beans why you did not tell me. So i am not sure he put in the correct item or since they did not have green beans they gave me this instead. I asked for a refund. He had problem with it and had to call the manager/owner. They did not seem to care or want to assist for the trouble. They lost a future customer. Poor customer service from employee and manager/owner. Will never go back.

Sorry but Uncle Chai is not good. This is the second time I've tried the food and will be the last. Ordered a Tom Yum soup with chicken the broth is fire red spicy/oil and tastes ok, but the chicken was chewy, dry and gross. Ordered a papaya salad as well and tossed it fishy and old papaya. I hate to write but reviews but the food is just terrible. Hot or Not blows this place away
