What Christine Bayer doesn't like about Red Marlin:
My husband and I are locals and frequent there. We have always had the best time but the last 2 times we have had a different experience. Yesterday I ordered a grey goose martini and after 15 or so minutes the server came up and said we are out of grey goose so I brought you a kettle one. The food was great and so was the service was great too!
Food is decent and service was good. It’s a bit overpriced for what this restaurant was. It tries to be fancier but isn’t quite there. Our server was friendly and timely. Even though we had reservation, hostess seated us at an awkward middle table as opposed to open table next to windows with a view. The markup on wine bottles is very high and are mislabeled on the menu. We ordered a petite sirah but the wine was actually a Pinot noir.
A little on the pricier side but meal tasted great and the server made it even more enjoyable. The staff are very accommodating and provide excellent service.

Im sorry but that is past New York prices and I was not happy even though I didn't complain. Will definitely think twice about coming back which is too bad because the food is delicious!!!
Slow service both times we were there plus the got our dessert order wrong. Food was good but not great. Ambiance is lovely and good wine
