Best breakfast sandwich I have had in years! The fresh bun and sauce they use is very tasty. The apple wood smoked bacon was amazing! Fresh squeezed OJ was very good but small in size. I will definitely be returning for more.Vegetarian options: Many vegan options. View all feedback.
What Pat Foglia doesn't like about Eggies:
Each sandwich has a single egg on it, so the protein is mostly coming from the breakfast meats. The sandwiches are greasy and overly sauced with their sauce that overpowers the entire sandwich. Brioche buns are buttery and greasy enough to begin with so it's messy eating experience. Just get a breakfast burrito from one of the many excellent Mexican places in town. View all feedback.
I was really excited to try this place and as a new vegetarian I was excited to try a vegan fried chicken sandwich. The girl at the front was nice at first but when she gave me my food she dropped the bag in front of me very rudely and turned and walked away. Now to the chicken sandwich. I would say it tasted exactly how non vegans would imagine a vegan chicken sandwich would taste. The texture and appearance was as if you made a boiled chicken sandwich. It’s supposed to be a deep fried chicken sandwich but as you can see in the photos, that most certainly is not the case. Wasn’t crispy whatsoever and barely had any fried batter on it at all. The moment I took a bite everything inside of the sandwich began to slide off like when you have sliced avocado on a sandwich. I had to keep pushing everything back in between the bread. The only reason I finished it was because I had just spent $12 on it which for what it is is absolutely absurd. I had to keep drinking my girlfriends tea to get the second half of the sandwich down. I’m not a picky eater but this was genuinely one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had.
Chilaquiles chorizo dog was soooo good. The hash jar was tasty as
Great food, great service! If you see a crowd in front, it's worth the wait--line goes fast! Huge menu with lots to choose from. We had a breakfast sandwich, pancakes, waffles and an omelette and everything was very good!
I had the California Egg sandwich and it was delicious!
The sandwiches are great, very flavorful and fresh. There is a typical wait of about 5-10 minutes for your food. Parking is limited because you are so close to the beach. The area is pretty dirty, and there are plenty of homeless people. I recommend taking the food to go.Parking: Depends on the season and weather.
