Slow food, in every complementary sense of the term. Fresh, delicious, wholesome. Great staff and atmosphere. Come to sit, enjoy, and read a book. You won't get your sandwich in a rush, and that's how it should be. View all feedback.
What Bradley Kerr doesn't like about Dos Palmas Cafe:
I thought the Turkey Pesto sandwich was okay-good. Relative to the San Diego food scene it was well above average. I've had far better sandos in other North American cities and that's what my review ratings are based on. Very good atmosphere with the patios and music. With no line to order it took about 20 minutes to get a single sandwich to-go without a drink. View all feedback.

A true gem! Gluten free options, tasty chai, and an amazing, shaded, outdoor space!

Fun cafe in Normal Heights with a simple menu. They don’t have a huge selection but from the items we tried it was delicious. Has the breakfast panini with Turkey and a Mexican Mocha. The panini was really delicious, crispy, saucy, and just the right amount of heft to it. The coffee mochawas pretty standard but good. Also had a Mexican chocolate coffee cake which I’ve never had, simply delicious. Would definitely recommend. Parking can get tough. Lots of locals though so it’s all good
Ordered the breakfast panini, Mexican mocha, and acai bowl. Everything was amazing
